Steps to Assessment

These are the steps you can expect to go through with a ADHD clinic screening.

Step 1: Referral Form

Service 1 - Screening Only - £390

Service 2 Qb Test Only -       £200

Service 3 Full Diagnosis -     £955

Step 2: Triage

All referrals are subject to a triage process prior to acceptance. Please note that our clinical team may decline referrals if it is determined that more specialist support is required. If this occurs, a clinician will discuss the reasons with you directly.

Please also be aware that the QbTest is a Type 1A medical device and is subject to strict usage guidelines.

Within 7 days of submitting your referral form, a member of our administrative team will contact you if any further information is needed to process your referral.

It is vital that the referral form is completed accurately and in full. Incomplete or withheld information may affect the outcome of the assessment and could prevent us from progressing your referral to our Clinical or Associate teams. In some cases, missing essential information may result in an inconclusive assessment outcome.

Step 3: Payment

Once your referral is accepted, you will receive an invoice.

There is a  £200 non-refundable deposit - which will come off the full cost of the diagnosis

Please note that appointments cannot be booked until payment has been made. All appointments are non-refundable, including if you change your mind about proceeding with the assessment.

Step 4: Full Assessment 

After payment is received, you will be sent a link to book your appointment slot. The full screen appointment will last approximately two hours and includes either a QbTest and ACE and DIVA 5 Interview (in-person), or a QbCheck and ACE and DIVA 5 Interview (if remote).

Following the QbTest or QbCheck, there will be a short break before starting the Interviews. ADHD rating scales will also be sent in advance of your appointment. Please note that your results report will not be completed unless all required questionnaires are returned, and payments are received.

QbTest Only-

If you book a QbTest only appointment, you will not be sent any rating scales or take part in the Diagnostic Interviews. You will still be allocated a two-hour appointment slot, although the appointment itself will be completed within one hour.

It is essential that you arrive at the start of your scheduled time. Please be aware that we cannot refer you to our clinical associates if you have only completed the QbTest.

Step 5: Screening Results

Following your appointment, our clinical team will compile a report based on all assessment data. You will receive this report within 4 weeks after the appointment.

This is a screening outcome and not a formal diagnosis. If the results suggest the presence of ADHD, you can then decide whether to pursue a formal diagnosis. We can only refer you to the next stage if you have completed the full assessment (QbTest/QbCheck, ACE Interview, and rating scales).

If you initially completed the QbTest only and later choose to pursue a formal diagnosis, there is an additional charge of £790.00 This fee covers the remaining elements of Service 1+3, including the clinical interview and rating scales, and allows us to produce a new and more comprehensive results report.
